Learning What Colored Pencils Can Do

Date: Saturday March 12 and Sunday March 13, 2022

Time: 9:00am-4:00pm
with a lunch break from 12:00pm-1:00pm

In this 2 day workshop, students will complete two colored pencil artworks.  Working on a black Stonehenge paper with a minimum of colors, students will create a ballerina.  Students  will also learn how to use colored pencils to create a southwest still life.

Sheila says, “By the end of class you will be excited by what you’ve learned and how to use the pencils in different ways, using U Art sanded paper and Arches watercolor paper”.

Minimum is 10 students and Maximum is 12

This workshop is for adults including Highschool age and all levels are welcome

Cost: $189

Supplies: Cost of 1 sheet of Stone henge paper and 1 sheet of U Art papers, Pencil sharpener, pencils, ( I prefer PRISMACOLORS  because of the technique that I use,) tortillions,, small jar lid, kneadable eraser, couple of small brushes

Sheila started working with colored pencils in 2001, and is now a signature member of the Colored Pencil Society of America.  She has been teaching colored pencils for 19 years at EOC Vo-tech, and Hobby Lobby for 11 years. BAA LOCATION is at the Price Tower BAA Art Center at 500 S. Dewey Ave. The entrance is in the back of the one-story building next to Price Tower, facing the big parking lot.

REFUND POLICY: 100% if a request to withdraw from class or workshop is received 30 days before the start date, and 50% if received 14 days before the start date. Requests for refunds after that date will not be accepted.
