Mondays 10am – 12pm
This 10 week class provides a solid foundation in drawing to beginning students. With pencil and charcoal, students learn to use line, value, gesture, and perspective, you’ll develop the ability to create accurate and energetic drawings. Supplies: Students will need to bring her/his own supplies for each class. Graphite and charcoal and the appropriate paper pads, sketch books, and a ruler for the drawing class.
Originally from St. Louis, Cristine has studied drawing and painting from the age of 12. Her early art education came from private art instructors and workshops at Washington University and the St. Louis Art Museum. She later studied Fine Arts and Art Education at the University of Kansas. Her appreciation for the uniqueness of people, as well as nature, is conveyed in each portrait or landscape painting. Cristine has a constant fascination with solving the problems of light, composition, and color in each painting and drawing endeavor.
BAA LOCATION is at the Price Tower BAA Art Center at 500 S. Dewey Ave. The entrance is in the back of the one-story building next to Price Tower, facing the big parking lot.
REFUND POLICY: 100% if a request to withdraw from class or workshop is received 30 days before the start date, and 50% if received 14 days before the start date. Requests for refunds after that date will not be accepted.
