CALL FOR ARTISTS:  Library Exhibit in September 2019
Bartlesville Public Library is hosting BAA in September for an exhibit of member artwork in their foyer area glass display case. The artwork cannot have any prices posted due to library policy, but we will post our BAA contact information so that interested buyers can make purchases after the event. Reita Adams is coordinating this exhibit. 
 CALL FOR ARTISTS: Winter Gallery selling November 15 & 16, 2019


BAA’s Winter Gallery features gifts and unique items that are all handcrafted by Local Artists!

Days: Friday November 15th & Saturday November 16th, 2019

Hours: Friday 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am – 7:00 pm

Location: at Bartlesville Art Association  500 S. Dewey Ave. 

Dear Members,

The 2019 Winter Gallery will be Friday November 15th and Saturday November 16th.

Artist Applications are now open, the form is here.  Applications are due by October 10th and all applicants will be notified of their application status by October 15th.

August 19th Lauren “Rainbow Lunsford – ACRYLIC
Lauren will share her technique using acrylic, glitter and puff paint in a variety of interesting lights.

September 16th Daryl Reimer- GRAPHITE/CHARCOAL
Daryl will demonstrate his graphite/charcoal portrait strategies including set up, likeness, showing
rounded form and color strategies.

October 21st Jimmy Leach – ACRYLIC
Jimmy will share his process of painting heavy texture in acrylic and extending the image past the
borders. An added feature will be stories from his life and career asan artist.

Janette will share her knowledge of different kinds of paper, adding textured grounds and creating a
successful underpainting using color theory
